New youth focussed Moto3 type initiative based in Holland run by Ten Kate Racing.

€6000 for a whole season of 15 events!!!
Bike lease, gear lease, classes, running costs etc.
Now where have I seen that idea before????

Makes the WSBK scheme look a bit low rent in a lot of ways, but this series will almost exclusively race at Assen. Only two races outside of Assen at Misano and Oschersleben.
For young riders looking to move into MotoGP via Moto3 this could be another way in as a lot of euro talent will be in it and they will race on a lot of MotoGP and WSBK circuits.
Some of the riders for sure will be MotoGP wildcard riders.

Is there an age limit? The usual names come to mind, Daniel, Jake, Avalon. All deserving riders in my opinion. Only 180 $100 donations would raise 18k for the actual ride. Id put $100 in

Thre is an age limit on this one. 12 - 22 years. The KNMV will pay licence fees for riders 18 years and under.
Basically it is the Dutch Motorcycle Racing authorities (KNMV), CRT and Gerrit Ten Kate setting it up.
The reason it is so cheap is that there are serious sponsors on board. The main one is this Kids on Tracks whoever they are, ( http://www.dgml.nl/gp3&l=en ) and also I am sure, the gear suppliers are supplying for free or for very low cost.
I have emailed with the organiser and the bikes will all be maintained by Ten Kate Racing Products and the riders will get different bikes at each meeting (well, they may get the same one, but that will be by luck).
The bikes will all be for sale at the end of the season. No word on how many there will be, but I expect that will depend on entry numbers.
The season stretches from March 19 to October.
It looks good to me because the entry includes workshops and training, except that all the events but two are at Assen. I think this is a bit narrow given the access to world class circuits, but that is their decision. My guess is that riders would not be racing in only this series, but in other ones as well.
There is also mention of the Italian GP3 series but my Dutch is not quite up to it. I will get my in-house translator to decifer this.

Fundamentally, this is the same as Moto Academy NZ has been doing for the past 3 years, just on a bit bigger scale. The photo shows 10 MD250H bikes. We wanted to try and get to this level, but in NZ it was simply impossible.

Found this also, but these are just racing classes, not the same as the Dutch one. I think that the Dutch one talks about taking the top 10 riders to a round of the Italian champs:

I have emailed Ronald Ten Kate direct about confirming a space, and have asked if I could have the time to tentatively ( Subject to commitment from riders sponsors) book 2 more confirmed riders for this series, and attending as many of the events as I can that do NOT clash with my BSB Job.

At this stage I am aware that the Mettams and the Lewis's are planing and fund raising to go to Europe to compete in the WSBK Youth development programme. The word from the Mettams is that someone is making it possible for them to do it, so perhaps they are already set in that regard.

Avalon will be starting university this year, so maybe it would be good for her to concentrate on that? (Just my opinion).

So maybe then the Lewis's could do with the assistance, but maybe Av too?

The youngsters mentioned above are all going great (especially Jake and Dan) but needed to be at that level at 13 years old, not 15 or 16 as they are now. We need to learn from that, it's what the world scene is demanding in age /competency criteria
