Waioweka gorge(Spelt right?)

For anyone goind over the Waioweka gorge this weekend, there are roadworks along almost the entire gorge. The road has been resealed with chip and the road marking still needs doing. Needless to say, but i will, there is still heaps of loose metal all over the road. The road from Matiwai to Gisborne is OK though.

You might want to detour around Te Kaha and Te Araroa instead.
