Dunno - send him a Pm I guess. He'd probably know plumbers, but then I think he's based in Whangerei

Our stuff is all just screw on - screw the old one off, plumbers tape the threads and screw the new stuff on.

Sounds about the sort of Plumber we need

I have actually heard from him. We tried to recondition our old shower mixer. They provide an o ring kit and everything. We followed the instructions. I even got a 2.5mm allen key

    It still leaks!!

After that failed attempt, we are happy to pay someone else to do it for us...

    We know our strengths

Plumbing is not one of them

Fully recommend him to anyone needing stuff done. Turns up on time, does the job without fucking about and it's done.

We'll certainly be engaging him at the new house if there's anything we need doing.

    Nicely done.
Cheers Mully. Happy to help out

Pretty sure your not allowed to alter or add any fixed wiring within your house including fixed wired appliances (oven, heated towel rack), this is prescribed electrical work.

You can change fittings if done to the appropriate standards, eg replace a light fitting or power outlet.

Also you are not allowed to do it for anyone else for personal gain, except if you hold a current practicing licence.

Got to love bright sparks, I never thought of either of those things.

I have someone coming this afternoon, hopefully by the end of the day all will be sorted
