    Congratulations to Michael Campbell

What more can be said? A truly awesome performance under some pressure.

Michael Campbell has just won the US Golf Open - basically a similar sporting achievement to us winning the Americas Cup!!

Shit - that was a good comback - from 3rd to second to 1st (and the leader was 3 shots up when he was second).

Bad analogy - far more impressive than a boat race. Millions more people play golf and you don't have to be billionaire to buy a set of clubs. There is also athletic ability involved.

Excellent! Hopefully he enjoys a succession of victories following this one. That boy has had some up and downs in form. Great to see him win!

In a number of countries like Japan, you have to be a millionaire to afford green fees to play on the golf course. From memory, a membership fee cost around $200,000.
