Wellington Backpackers

In a couple of weeks I'm running a bike down to Nelson for a mate - will be overnighting in Wellington before the 0845 ferry. Looking at backpackers to stay the night in downtown - any suggestions on somewhere with secure parking? I'll be in at around 8pm out at 0600...

I normally jump the sea in the evening, and stay in Picton at the Tombstone Backpackers (right next to ferry, and free breakfast offered). The problem with Wellington (and other big cities) is cost and often lack of parking.
