Meet Meow Meow (i know, but kids named her)
She gets mice, rabbits and rats, she once left us a line up of 5 rats on the lawn one morning!
She used to get birds, but realized that we did not like that, so now she just gets a bird if we piss her off...we don't piss her off often! Apparently, the amount of rats they kill and in essence birds eggs they save doing this more than off sets the birds they kill. Just something I read somewhere, not sure how factual it was.
We never meant to get a cat as we live in a totara forest, but she came at a time of great sorrow to us and my wife took it as a sign.

My Friends Rag Doll cat.
I may be slow at getting things but..... no wait I'm just slow.
Here's Saffy the cat.
Now she is a lucky cat. Just before Christmas she went missing - turned up 2 days later looking very sorry for herself. She had a discolated rear lega nd a broken pelvis. $700 later, 4 weeks in a cage plus $170 on boarding at the vets when we went on holiday mid January and she is significantly better. Walks with a bit of a limp as I suspect the pelvis has set a bit wonky.
Consequently she did not get a christmas pressy under the tree! I got bugger all too as we were skint after that!
