The recently deceased Baldrick. Found in a drain with the rest of the litter by my daughter when he was aged about 4 weeks. Cared for by the local cat lady until he was old enough to survive on the understanding that we keep him. Kept us amused for 13 odd years with his antics like trying to jump on the stereo ... and missing, trying to make a quick getaway through the cat door ... and missing. You get the picture? Not the most coordinated cat ever (although he could balance a can on his head quite well.).

This is what they do all of the day and all of the night - sit at the top of the drive and monitor traffic.Any cat that comes onto our property has to come up the drive - ''Wot chu want bro?''

This is as close as she lets him get.The grey cat is just over a year old,and desperate for her company,he follows her everywhere.Any closer and she snarls at him,but they do touch noses sometimes. He must have been looking for a mum,she isn't looking for a dependent...but she tolerates him better than I thought she would.

    I present to you, Rocky!

He's a bit of a dick, but I love him all the same. He is extremely attached to a) my motorcycle and b) my motorcycle luggage. If he sees me putting on my jacket he'll usually hop on my bike and into my luggage to come along for the ride. I've taken him for a few rides but I'm just too paranoid to go any further than around the block, I don't want him to fall out or smell something and make a running leap into a billion barrel rolls.

The first pic is him sheepishly climbing out after I caught him in the act and scolded him to get out. Sorry for the iPhone pics...

This is Hamish - named after the big scottish guy in Braveheart.

He'e very much a blokey cat - likes fixing stuff and hanging out by the barby. Not much bothers him. He's a good mate.

The black female cat is sophie, Otis is a boy - no particular reason than it's a cool name.

Ooops yeah I thought to the boy/girl thing after I posted. Just curious as I was in a flat with a black cat called Otis. He was named after Otis Redding .
