    Cool Help with stains, please

Last week I soaked a pink shirt with my lite blue pj pants but didn't realise that the colours would run. When I went to wash the shirt which looks like a tie dyed colour now blue and pink put my pj pants are fine of course.

At the moment i'm soaking the t shirt in nappy sam hopefully the blue will come out of the shirt.Does anyone know of a different way of getting a colour out of a shirt it would be so helpful in case the nappy sam doesn't work.

Its a favourite shirt too my pink kiwi biker one but i'm lucky I have two of them.

Had exactly this scenario a couple of weeks ago - blue shirt stained with red from a tissue left in the pocket...

Tried everything but eventually succeeded with Janola. Napisan didn't budge it at all. Took the chlorine to get rid of it. Had to soak it for quite a long time (overnight I seem to recall). Just used Janola as per label. Make sure it doesn't bleach the garment you are trying to fix...

Did the stain dry? I have had some great sucess doing things the old fashioned way. It only works though if the stain (leeched dye) has remained wet. Once upon a time I used Sunlight soap, now I just use ordinary bathroom variety stuff. Rub soap in and start rubbing the fabric together, keep going till your hands are about to fall off, rinse and repeat. It does work

Bleach it white then dye it to the colour of your choice.

If I steal it then it will no longer be a problem I would try that Dylon dye remover, but I think it will be expensive - ask Spankme to do some more - I will get a couple if he does another run of pink.
