With any luck it wont be the mushroom eater that suffers strange plans, but the one she loves

Thing is, I have never, ever seen them so early Who am I to complain though?

    Is this global warming?

    Ok, tis easy,

Make up a sauce base of olive oil, milk and butter. Fuse it togeher with a few chives and some finely chopped onion.

To that, add your musrooms and stir them in really well, dont have too much heat or the milk will curdle.

Next, add a small splash of white wine, let it reduce then pour some full fat cream over the top. Stir it all in until the cream thickens.

At the same time, have in the fry pan a couple of big, hick slices of wholegrain bread brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with a speck of brushed garlic. Fry that until the edges are golden.

Get the bread out, drop some butter on then spoon the mushrooms and sauce over.

Top it off with e teaspoon of basil pesto and you have an amazing brunch. Serve with a couple of strips of streaky bacon on the side and your favourite chilled whie wine.

Keep some bread behind to mop up the sauce in the pan and your plate.

Enjoy then go shagging for the afternoon.........quality........
