No. Not as far as I know. It did bring one particular gobshite out of the woodwork but I suspect that was just some 15 year old kid playing on mum and dad's computer.

I disagree. Ruapuna is only $80 for a half day, cheaper if you're a member. It's open Tuesdays and Fridays, organising a day off work isn't that hard. Yet with all this, I know guys on 'crotch rockets' who are just not interested in going around and around a track all day. I actually enjoy it. But I also understand the enjoyment of a fast paced ride to a destination, and that's what most of these guys prefer.

Two fair points here. The problem with the track is that when you stop there is not an attractive waitress delivering your coffee/beer/insert your preferred drink.

Plus on the track the bullshit stops so you can't sit down and tell lies about how fast you were going 'after you got stuck behind those cars'.

To the OP - fair post mate - the police have SH75 noted as a well know motorcycle race course and often have mufti cars about to reign in the loonies.
