    Anyway...

Hone Harawira , New Zealand Member of Parliament.

On a recent trip to the U.S.A. , Maori Party M.P. Hone Harawira (alias John Hadfield, his true name, his grandfather was pakeha) was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nations in Kitimat, B.C. Canada, due to his recent examples of how to inflame the Maori Indigenous situation in New Zealand ........

He spoke for almost an hour, echoing his racist mother's doomed-to-fail radical ideas for increasing any First Nation's standard of living.

At the conclusion of his speech, the tribes presented Hone with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name - "Walking Eagle".

The proud Hone then departed with his entourage, waving to the crowd as he left.
A news reporter later asked the American Indian Chiefs how they came to select the new name given to Hone..

They explained that "Walking Eagle" is the name given to a bird so full of 5hit it can no longer fly.

    that was a goodun

    but seriously 2 points

    1. geezer got off his arse , ( pas de points to whitey )

2 has a point , Jk is , as the current prime minister , responsible for the decisions that have been made under his leadership which have and will undermine the common folk of NZ

( pas de points, to whitey )

( I some how think that hone junior doesn't actually understand what he thinks or speaks , but at least hes doing SOMETHING )

    un points to the indigenous

pretty backwards that his grandfather(?) is/was white and from what I understand harawira is not his origional last name they changed it back to the maori version at some point, him being a full blooded maori and all

and George from Avon-lea is doing???

greed will always corrupt , but if I had a choice , I would prefer NZ under Maori , .......puritanical white Europeans do my head in ,

If Maori ( minus underpants ) have sustainability in mind and NZ first and foremost in their agenda

I for one support them 100 percent

I would rather a Hone with NZ in his heart than Jk bankin a way

Hmmmm .. yes, I agree. And this type of thing happened all over the country, and at Waitangi ...

The media Pakeha highlighted the Hawawira family's actions - and ignored the good things - liike this, giving the country a very biased view of Waitangi Day.

Agreed, although this is the first time I have seen it advertised as well as it was.

I also agree that NZ media sucks arse, which is why I now rely on KB for all my news requirements.

GAH - sorry for the thumbs down - just figured out how to remove it - it seems to be just where my mouse lands when I click out of the text box to scroll down to the submit button
    Keep on chooglin'

So - at least they had learnt by their mistakes - it's amazing what almost starving to death does to your perceptions of what's sustainable or not.
They had finally got their shit together on sustainability.....when the Europeans arrived............
