North Auckland Ride This Saturday – 25/06/05

Meeting Place: Shell Service Station, Westgate, Auckland.

Destination: Mangawhai Heads for lunch.

Time: 9.15 am to depart at 9.30 am sharp. Should be back in Ak around 1 pm.

Note: Weather permitting. I will not be riding if it’s wet! Let's hope this current wet weather turns to sunshine by this Saturday.

Ride at “your own pace” and enjoy!!

I'm keen Zed. A great piece of road.

As Devil said, Sunday looks a whole heap better than Saturday weather wise at this stage. Is there a possibility the ride could be moved to Sunday if the weather does turn out to be crap?

It will be happening on Saturday if it's dry, otherwise I can probably ride as far as Wellsford on Sunday (I must be back home by 12 pm though) if it's rained out Saturday.

Well that would make 3 weekends in a row for me. Not that I'm complaining... But it would only be on Saturday as I am working Sunday. At this stage the weather looks dodgy but we'll wait and see.

I'd go for Sunday. Both main weather sites say Saturday will be crap & Sunday ok

Looks like I'll be riding with the slow group on Sunday, weather permitting. I still need to buy a couple of bits for the bike and Saturday morning is the only time I can do it.
