Nic Kuipers Flickr Paeroa Captures, inc BMW vs Buell

Nic Kuiper captured some Impressive pics, including the unfortuate event when the two collided after the start of one of the Bears races. I hope the guys were OK. Obviously the bikes suffered a bit.

Didn't see it, just the results, what happened?
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

Unusually I was ahead of all this and didn't see it but my understanding from talking to people after is that the Buell got a bit of air under the front wheel and as he was coming down got his bar clipped by someone passing and went down, BMW had nowhere to go and flipped over the wreckage.

I had a great duel with the Buell at Whanganui (which he won) and we chatted in the morning and were looking forward to more of the same (well with ME winning this time ) Sadly it wasn't to be.

I hope both riders recover OK
