OK so I don't need any help to look stupid. I did check at the begining of the day and thought I had enough.

Rereading your post about counting laps - do you want me to ask JC about the portable lap counter we use at Mt Welly? It's a stick in the ground jobby, whereas I think yours is a hang it out the window jobby?

Might make it a little bit easier for you? (thinking for Toke)

We need to see if we can rope one or two others in for lap-scoring, as the girls (sweet & cute as they are) didn't really cope. I'll bring a tape recorder down (if it still goes), which I think would be handy for replaying at the end when all the numbers that got missed can be sorted out. Then again, I ride for fun, and when I'm not having fun, I don't ride. I can be found at the back of the pack, or somewhere else (flagging, lapscoring or if we've got enough folk, having a few quiets haha)

I did mention to someone else it was my sticking throttle that brought my corner speed up.

From my point of view counting the race laps was easy, I had my clicker thing. And yes we will need more pro lap scorers for the meeting. See how many we get anyway. probably limit classes to 12-16 bikes depending what it looks like. not long away now ay!!
