So what time does one need to be there on Saturday to sign up? Yes, I do enjoy my weekend sleep in.

I can't open/upload the entry form - it opens corrupted/unreadable. That doesn't matter since I want to turn up first, check out the competition to see if too many Racers turn up on 600+hp sports bikes with anything other than adventure tyres fitted.

Entering a race with a sports/race focused bike on sports/race/slick tyres is just cheating in my book!

In fact a fair handicap system would be fast bikes with more than 129hp must use diesel.

And I recall you telling me you like to hit the roads early and be home by morning tea ?

I'm sure you will ensure that the Tiger punches above it's weight and surprises a few people. BEARS or Superbike Class ?

Sign on is at 8.00am to 8.30am, but if there is room for more, entries will be received throughout the day.

Strange about the entry form - it was working ok last week.

See ya tomorrow mate. I can't freaking wait !!

Thanks Dean. But it's a fair bit of weight to try and punch above!
Not sure if I can get it race prep'd in time tonight. You know the basic race set up; fit heated handgrips; panniers and topbox.

Well I must be first one home.

That was a lot of fun. Trying to use both sides of the road messes with your head!
Got a bit too hot at times but we sure can't complain about the weather.

Looks like I will have to go back tomorrow to see if I can hang on in there for the BEARS win. I think it's 2/10th of a second between the race spec Tiger and a MV1000 full dress tourer. Better take my mirrors of for another 1/10th

One Rider had a bad off and last I heard he had a wee spell in hospital and is going home tonight, get well. Can't say the same for his bike. Totally munted comes to mind.

Selling your bike a bit short there mate. After the practice, Drew sits fastest on 2.18 on his 95 RF900, Dion Sellers next on 2.21 on his S1000R BMW. I think Deano threw down a 2.23 on his SV which is SPECTACULAR. Luke's around 2.24 from memory.

It aint what ya ride, it's how you ride it.

Cheers. Yeah, I simply ride for the buzz and the Tiger is a very rewarding ride. Are we going to see you tomorrow Jimmy?

How Drew got that sort of speed out of an old RF900 is beyond belief. If that aint enough, let me mention three words...Shinko front tyre! I wouldn't risk a 50kph commute on one of them.

Not that I'm an expert but a road and surface like that (large chip) seems to favour road bikes. If I could have had a blast on one bike that was there that day it would have been the 'soft-ish' road biased Blade (2008+ model). But not with slicks on.

Damnit it looks fun, if the world doesn't end in 2012, I think I'm gonna be out of excuses and will have to enter.

Damn it, no film of me coming over the bridge on the RF.

Wanted to make sure I didn't look like as much of a pussy through there as most people. Bwahahahahaha

Yeah, I wondered how he didn't get any of you through there, he told me he could hear your tyres sliding tho.
Wasn't at that spot when the FZR went down either unfortunately.

Simon looked bloody quick through there on that chook chaser!
