I'll try come down for a perve, but, both my bikes are terrible and certainly not set up to go around corners and make up for my significant lack of Rossi.
Everyones welcome to have a bash - especially on Saturady fun/practice day. There are good times to be had at the rally too.

At the risk of sounding like a boring old bastard, I will repeat that this is one of the best "racing" events in New Zealand. If I had more experience I would go as far as to say it is world class. It's true strength is that anyone can come along and have a hoot doing something that most people think is mental. It is only as dangerous as riding a motorcycle on the road is in any other circumstance. In my world that translates into "I'll be right", and it's true. Drew hasn't crashed there yet. The camraderie during the event is great and honestly, anyone can give it a go. It doesn't matter how fast you go, as long as you're in there giving it a go.
It sucks that I can't be there this year.

    I second that.
This is the ONLY "racing" event i do apart from the sprints cliffhanger organise, and every year i am amazed at the amount of people that offer help/advice from riding to setup or just stop to have a chat.
    Simply am orsome event.

Yep, at the risk of repeating the great comments ad nauseum: it's great!

Ride at your own pace, just you and the road, with a sausage in bread treat served up by a lovely lady or, for those of you on italian bikes, a hirsute gentleman, between scoots, what could be better?

Oooooh, I know! Bugger off the tyre warmers, they're a pain the arse.

I've not come across the aforementioned hirsute gentleman in previous years.
Will he be there this year?
I would much prefer to be served a sausage by him

NEWS FLASH: the GFC has forced some cutbacks so they've decided to employ a hirsute lady to cover all the bases.....

Maybe next year... if I can learn to ride a bike properly (more track days / coaching needed).

PS: I just googled hirsute. Let's just say I wish I hadn't and it's a good way to start a diet.

Ok I know people like to hold off until the last minute, but if you are keen to enter, please do so soon.

It takes a lot of stress out of sign in if there are pre entries - mmuch less processing to do.

Also - an MC is needed to announce the riders, plug the sponsors etc.

Is anyone keen to assist, particularly on Sunday 20th ?
