I am having another go at this, it is always an enjoyable event whether competing or not. Don't be afraid to come and have a go too people, it is a rare opportunity to ride as fast as you want legally on a public road.
    pretentious moi?

Ok - now the dumb questions:

    1. Is the rally open to the public?
    2. When do the gates open?
    3. How much and presume we pay at the gate?

PS: weather looks like shite in Masterton over the Weekend....

    1. Yes.....motorcycling public LOL
    2. Hillclimb runs start at 10.00am on Sat - I'd suggest the rally starts about this time as well. There are contact details on the attached entry form if you want more accurate info.
    3. $25 each or $15 each for people who enter the hill climb. There is a pre booked dinner for $15

The event has not yet had to be cancelled due to inclement weather - it will still be run if damp. Bring your wets if you have em and want to be uber competitive....if its wet of course.

I've attached the entry form for ya as well.

Ok - so I've got 4 keen to go. One is weather dependent, one is skill dependent, one is woman dependent (whether or not she lets him - sheesh), and I am just a dependent full stop.

Gonna be a good night indeed, I'm woman dependant for Rally attendance myself also. However, should I be there, how sick is it gonna be with a few Mairs, a heap of beers and a GSXR1100 sidecar in a padock? Mean maori, mean.

I know this is a two day event - but have not been to one yet. I am working on the Saturday (til 4am - yikes!). Is it worth it popping over for a look on Sunday, or does all the action happen mostly on the first day? May have some new wheels I need to start getting used to. Shhhh

Was that "working till 4 am saturday" or 4 am sunday, cause the fun really starts when the bikes park up sat evening !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
