Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the decision at present belongs to the current government.
Labour directed and sanctioned, through Internal Affairs, a contract to be signed for a nine year roll over. If Govt (regardless of the party) breech those there are serious financial penalties. I would suggest around the same value as the contract period.

I cut back from 4 or more cars and 3 bikes to 2 cars and one bike, and one of those cars is a freebee that I can't sell,so have to run it into the ground, otherwise it would be one car.

I'm happy to be back on one bike,I've gone back to my '70's roots, and made one bike to do it all.

it wont work.....if multiple vehicle owners are charged only one levy who is gonna pick up the slack......thats right every license holder will be oinged for the current total divided by licenses instead of vehicles.I see a big across the board rise coming up

With the $1.8billion more than projected over the last 6 months made by ACC, does there really need to be a big increase across the board? Not saying it wouldn't happen, but does it need to happen?

Cars are for transport, unless our Govt. feel the need to show off to others around the world whats wrong with a fleet of Mondeos even? What a waste of valuable revenue on the cars, fuel etc... I have an idea, one good second hand Rolls Royce to pick up Hillary Clinton from the Airport and put all the govt. muppets on.... Motorbikes and scooters...

Does it matter? wrong is wrong regardless of who signed the agreement both sides will happily use them when in power.

    too many ACC bills

I pay the ACC levy for 4 tin tops and a large motorbike. Way too much. I can only drive/ride one at a time!

Yeah my 3 bikes, missus wee 250, and a car.....sigh
One levy for all, place the shortfall on Fuel

Interestingly, polling round the pollies this last two months, I have met EVERY acc spokesperson in oppostion and the ACC minister

All feel Fuel would be a good way to go, the opposition crews say they are committed to returning to Woodhouse principles and placing all required fallout funding onto Fuel.
In an election year that's a highly relevant fact to be known......
    Just ride.

Hmm, my 67 cost me the same as the other cages, doing the math, 1967, hmm, older than 40 years...

Edit, forgot to add, 1 x pissed off V8, 1 x mild V8, 1 x pissed off big block V8, 1 x non functional V8 (which runs 9mpg when it did run...) and the mighty 1.6 litre Wagoon. Which pulls the chicks. And the bikes (it's the only one with a tow bar). How many bikes? Well, enough, almost. When is enough, enough? How much power becomes too much? Why are all the beautiful girls ugly on the inside? Are all the ugly girls beautiful on the inside? Is Inner Beauty like ZXRider says poetically - when it's in-her, it's beauty!

We get taxed on petrol. We pay GST on petrol. We already pay income tax. So petrol is triple taxed. Sounds like a fucking scam to me. In the US, the gang-sta's ride around in pimped out BMW 7 series - it's the way you can tell crooks from honest folk... Ahem...
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
