    Waahhnker on Triumph

    Lazily watching Motorway patrol, cop pulls over idiot on Triumph, he was doing 132.

    Wanker claims (a) "you picked on me just becuse I'm a motorcyclist" and (b) "you picked on me 'cos I ride a Triumph" and (c) "everybody else was passing me".

    And no, he wasn't going to clean the mud(?) off his unreadable number plate.

    And waah, waah, waah about how was being picked on, the cop was an arsehole yadda..yadda..yadda

    Talk about childish!

    Are all Triumph riders like that?

    Are they like that as an equal to Harley riders not waving?

    Some triumph riders buy radar detectors, take the wrap if they get caught and don't play up to a camera !

    Speed restrictions are there to keep the masses from going beyond what they can controll their vehical at, i accept that !
    Hate to have 90% of NZ's population decide what speed they feel is a safe one to travel at, it would be carnage out there !

    135 is comfortable and enjoyable on my triumph (open road), any less and i'm having to prop my rather wieghty frame up,
    120 on the HD is comfortable and still enjoyable 100 would be also (hmmmm nah) !

    It's all about the grin factor !

    Put a squid on an HD and they'd be lost, because they wouldn't be able to reach 250 clicks, hence the Harley hating fraternity !
    But i don't mind, i don't hate anybody, i do what makes me smile !
    A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
    The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
