Best Wednesday afternoon/evening I've had in ages!

Nice turnaround times with only 11 bikes running and perfect conditions with a slight tail wind.

Thanks to those that gave their time so we could have a blast.

Yeah but as it's a timed sprint, what was the time? GPS doesn't make it an official average speed over a flying quarter.

Why the big variance in speed between the GPS and the times then? Pretty sure I could wring 300 out of '10 R1 seeing as Tony Samson went 300+ quite a few years back on the same road on an older bike.

Something doesn't stack up. How's the road measured?

344kph with 400 HP seems slow. Run out of room or gears?

Folks the reason for GPS speed is simple....the timing gear used was unable to record the split times below 1.18 seconds due to machincal relays in the loop. All of my runs recorded 1.18 secounds even when I ran at 3/4 throttle. The GPS is accurate to .02 of a KPH, so pretty darn good.

Happy to prove if you wish to contact me directly, but didn't build the bike to get into a debate....just wanted to go fast!
