    Oi! Pigs over 'ere!

Now I got your attention . Sorry people this is not a P.I.G. bashing thread. Feel free to watch this if you are disappointed. might make you fell a bit better.

Now P.I.G.s what I wanna know is what's the deal with your hats? They provide no real protection, offer no advantage to your job & wouldn't they become a hindrance should you ever have to (god forbid) put down your donuts & coffee & actually chase someone?

Just watching the programs last nite got me thinking bout this so I was just interested to know.

Should we turn this into a "Design a new, high speed, protective cop hat" thread?

The whole point of a uniform is to look smart/respectable. It doesn't need to provide a practical use. I'm sure airline pilots would be much more comfortable in sweat pants, but could you respect that man... Guess some would.

Fuck yeh, max respect to anyone who turns up to a job in jeans and tartan shirt when everyone else is in suits. Cos you know they are getting by on skills alone

Thats a point really, they're whole uniform should provide a practical use & isn't really suited for their job, they aint models! maybee thats why they spend so much time scamming people? instead of doing their job.

Have none of you been into town on a Friday/Saturday night recently? It's obvious that try wear them so that drunk girls will come up to them and ask to wear it while posing for photos with them...
