    Diesel over here is about the same price as 91 give or take 5 cents....
    you kidding me right? it's way cheaper. you can run a big diesel hiace for the same price as a small 1.5l petrol car if you are handy with the odometer.

    I don't have any expericence with Hiaces, but as for winding back the speedo etc, my Peugeot 406 tdi is good for 5l/100km or 1200km to 60 litres of diesel (! lol), but add ruc and she not that much cheaper to run than my Falcon... instead of fucking around with the speedo I'm about to buy a second hand instrument cluster with a lower mileage showing (not hard as its done 390k), and will swap it out for WOF time. So can still keep track of mileage and speed but will take years to get to the RUC limit. Like fuck I'm paying the same tax as a 2.5 t Nissan Patrol or Isuzu light truck, govt can go and get fckd.

    Yeap that's right mate.

    Nice vehicle to be getting 5/100km diesel. Isn't it a real hassle to change out the dash for wof? Why don't you just use rpm for speed instead and disconnect it?
    ...Full throttle till you see god, then brake.
