    Epic U turn fail!

Last night my mate attempted to do a U turn. He failed to see a rather deep ditch and these are the results.

He wasn't trying to drift! I had to climb out the drivers window in the end.

The cop that showed up just laughed and decided not to charge my mate with anything or give him and fines. At least I got a free ride in a cop car!

Did the cop demo the correct way to pull a u? Rapidly, and into the path of oncoming traffic...

So when your muppet mate eventually does take somebody out, there will be no record of his previous crap driving?

Meanwhile others get tickets for doing 110 in a passing lane on SH1.

That's the inconsistency, and that's why it's revenue gathering.

It was an honest mistake, there was tall vegetation in the ditch so i was rather difficult to even see the ditch.

    Were you "distracting" him?

I can see how this could happen especially at night. Doesn't make it any less funny though.

It wasn't that funny being in a car for that split second that you think it's going to roll, but looking back on it, it's not that bad.

The only damage is a dent in one of the rear doors and the gearbox coolant lines got ripped out when one of the Hiluxes tried (unsuccessfully) to tow us out.

No, I think you were right originally. Not so much an honest mistake, as an epic fail.

    That is an epic fail!

He must feel really shamed out. Suprising that the cop didn't give him a ticket for careless driving etc.......

Nah, it's far more dangerous to do 110 in a passing lane.

Usually they don't roll in that situation, but sometimes they do tip on their side. DAMHIK
