Janets bike fell over again, same as February.
Now this has me wondering which direction are your bikes facing and did they fall.

Janets DR sits in a west/East direction in her garage and fell twice now.
Mine sit North/South and have never fallen in a quake.

Obviously a big enough quake from another faultline may make mine fall but then hers will probably stay standing but for now North/South seems safest.

    So anyone else??
I park mine in Central Otago ... no worries ... yet ...

All 3 and half bikes are standing, one is parked outside at the back door (has been since the Brass) 2 in the garage on side stands and all good, the half bike, which is really just a frame, sitting in the garden, still standing, all in completely different directions!

West/East. Stayed up in Sep, fell over in Feb, tie downs to rafters since Feb, moved today but still up

Lots of shit fell over today but nothing broken. Power tripped for the 5.5 and 6.0 but came straight back each time. Water pressure dropped way down after the 6.0 and stayed there. The tar seal in the street was newly ruptured again with plenty of fresh water flowing, new liquifaction and sewage in the street again too. Water pressure has now increased again and is almost back to normal. No further internal damage, but existing external brick damage has opened up more. I'm not worried about that as EQC have already said the house is to be de-bricked and lifted ... sometime.

And I'm out of beer ... and local bottle shop is closed and looking a right mess as I pressed up a against the window longingly

None of mine have fallen over yet, feb was 3 n-s and one e-w, this time 3 n-s and one parked at work (great day to have taken the bike, getting home in the traffic). Son was home at the time and heard the roof box fall over in the garage and thought it was the bikes, first thing he checked in the house, good boy.

Me too, so it's into the gin bottle instead. At least the gas station was still open so I could get some lemonade to go with it.

My garage must have moved a bit, just spent the last hour bashing the garage door opener back into shape so the chain won't keep falling off 'cos the sprocket don't line up with the chain no more. Don't know if I can be bothered attacking the side garage door or not, it's well and truly jammed shut now.

September, February & June. Same shit, same result. This time I had a matress beside it which saved it. Still waiting to do Feb repairs under insurance anyway.

The seismologists said there was little chance of another big one, I wonder if campbell live will rip the shyt out of them inducing death threats?

Tie downs and blu tack are probably in short supply.....again.
