    EQC are a joke - they sent out a cheque 10 days for my claim, no covering letter or anything just a cheque....oh yes, the cheque wasn't made out to me. Ten days later I'm still hitting my head against a brick wall trying to get it sorted, wankers.

    Maybe they will get their shit together for my second claim...or not.

    1:34am this morning, who felt that fuker? 4.7 and went on for 2min's bit of a ride that puppy.

    Now was out riding with a friend that owned her own house in Kaipoi, thers some shit luck, house screwed and I dont mean a couple a cracks and buggered lawn screwed we talking bout sewage through out, seen the high tide line still on both bike wheels, anyways, paying morgage, and rent and unlikely to be back in withen 2years... to top that off some little shits broke in and stole thousands of dollars of gear like the lawn mower... some shit luck still going on and EQC and insurances aint making it easy.
    Im thinking the quake will bank rupt a few people.

    19:22 hrs - That was a good'un. Jeez - I always thought I was a reasonably laid back type, but these things can stop any old time now...I'll check on the RS-reading - I reckon 4.5?

    Finally had an assessor from AMI out on Sat - official verdict - "it's a big job"
    No shit, sherlock....going to send another engineer...
