Port Hills is up 470 mm
It's all fucked up. And down, and sometimes sideways.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Yeah I'll take a guess... 4.4, between Sumner and Lyttelton.

I had a fridge stuck in the doorway of my daughters flat when the last one hit....
Sadly it didn't help.....and if it had been a big one I'd have been stuck indoors too.

No, but I think I caused what may have been recorded as an aftershock this afternoon...

Damn, it sure felt bigger. I feel for the people in Akaroa. Some of them must been sleeping peacefully.

It all depends on how close you are. I was guessing it was either a high 4 real close or a mid 5 a wee way off. I'm sure it was impressive out your way and there's bound to be damage out there but not too bad here. What concerns me more is the location for one that size - it's a wee way from the Sep 4, Feb 22, and Jun 13 ones - yet another fault perhaps? How many of the fuckers are there?

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
