    K2 GSX-R600 for sale.

    Hey there,

Got my K2 GSXR600 for sale. In great condition, has a small scrape in one side fairing from being dropped while being pushed around the garage by the previous owner. Has a full service history with literally YEARS of service receipts. Standard other than braided front brake lines and Yoshi Exhaust.

I haven't put it on trademe yet. thought I'd see if there was any genuine interest here first.

I don't have a picture of the actual bike at the moment. But it's exactly the same as the picture attached other than exhaust and mine has the white rear seat cowl.

It's due for it's 72,000km service now, I can either have this service done and see the bike for $5500 or leave it up to the new owner and sell it for $5000. No, I won't be accepting any rediculous offers.

    thanks.

I know it's 'tough economic times' but that won't last long at that price.

Really? They're going for around 7-8 on trademe with fewer km's. I thought this was priced to sell. especially considering the service history.

How's it a troll? Don't get me started on ReTardme. It's full of optimists, dealers and dreamers who don't really want to sell their bikes. Of 100 bikes listings on trademe in a month, about 5 seem to actually sell and they go for far less. The rest of them are on there for months.

He should take $4K for it from me and be bloody grateful

I actually make part of my living off of selling vehicles on trademe mate... and no, people do sell their bikes providing there is more than a half arsed effort with the description and pictures. I will turn over most bikes in less than a week, or else something is wrong. This bike on paper is definitely worth the money he is asking. He lacks a decent, well written description but more importantly the most fundamental aspects of pictures and a cell phone number. For 4k, you are just another crazysteve I'm afraid. In America, sure you can get it for that cheap but this is NZ my friend.

Thats true. It was a "spur of the moment thing" listing it here in the first instance. If it hasn't sold by next weekend I'll put it up on trademe and update the listing here with a full set of photo's etc.

I didn't feel that it needed much of a description here as this is a community of riders and most people interested in sports bikes know these bikes and all they're capable of. I just stated the facts and anyone interested in purchasing can ask anything they want.

I appreciate your feedback and comments though. and yes, I believe plenty of bikes sell on trademe as long as they're priced well. And I believe mine is.

We'll see. It's very much a buyers market at the moment and a lot of bikers are having to throw their toys out the pram.
