Fire works to boil water, like what is being used by the folks from Sumner camping on the hill. Need verses want. Survival verses selfishness.
Where they stole them from indicated they weren't thinking of anyone but themselves and it was no surprise they were scumbags from way back.
There are decent people, they are out clearing streets and helping others.

Heard the folk who stole went to court today and got a month in jail, starting today - yahoo. What a brilliant judge, although the sentence could've been longer.............

They gave the finger to the court as they were led away.

I don't see any remorse or evidence of an ill-considered spur of the moment "I just had to save my Family" action in that.

I was going to post here. But to be honest I think I will avoid this thread from now on.
My heart sinks when I think of the fact i have not heard from my dad since midnight tues.
I had a 1 minute conversation with him, he sounded shot (mentally). Sent a txt later that night that simply said "Saving more than we are losing".

Made me feel selfish to want to drag him away from saving people. But I do worry about him.

So I will avoid this thread from now on. For I know he will be doing EVERYTHING in his power to save more and that is all that counts. Whether it goes against morals, or law - he will do what he can so they live. I respect him for that.

I agree that your father and you are decent people, to go further you are both heros, him for what he is doing and you for not interfering with that. All the best to both of you.

No that's not their sentence -remember, they are innocent until proven to be the worse form of scum on earth. I think it's a case of remanded in custody until 28 March to consider their stinking exitence before facing trial.
