I reckon read the book. And then read it again. Then look at your bike and make sure it is as comfortable for racing as it can be and everything is working well. Then get on it and go scare yourself. Push the limits of breaking and corner speed. Ask yourself every time you get on the gas could I have done that sooner. All it takes is going to the track with ONE of these things in mind. Get it nailed and move to the next thing. Worked for me.

Don't try every corner, this will seem a little overwhelming. Pick a corner you are comfortable with and focus on that lap after lap, when you feel better/faster in that corner pick another corner and do the same thing.
