WTB: Honda vf1000r engine

Hi, I have a 1986 Honda vf1000r that has a shattered piston.
I am looking for a replacement engine or at the very least a piston and cylinder block as my heads are alright. Let me know if anyone has anything suitable and the price wanted.

my guy in Japan has a good running,engine complete,and as you know they are rare.

I have a old friend in Palmerston north with a VF1000 motor and frame in his garage. I do not know exactly what model or year it is. It has been sitting there at least 20 years and was not that old when the bike was written off. I will contact him regarding it. I have emailed him about it.
