    Rewiring job

I am looking for a good auto electrication on the North Shore Auckland to do some rewiring after a meltdown of my wiring.Would a bike shop do this or is a Auto Electrication better. Does anybody know of a good one.

    Spectrum motorcycles. Barrys point road.
    The motorcycle doctor. Mobile.
"some-one" in Whangaparaoa. Can't remember his name but a few guys here have used him. Try searching bike mechanic whangaparaoa and variations of. Depends also how far from the harbour bridge you still class as "north shore"

Do all the melted bits unplug as one wiring harness? If so a wreckers, trademe etc might score you a plug in replacement for the sets of wires that are damaged...

Yes Allun it is to replace the melted burnt wires, some had there coating just worn of over time.If you own a GN it might pay just to take the front of your headlight of and see what the wires are like,it could save you a headache down the road. I must admit i never thought of just unpluging the whole bit and just seeing if i can just find a replacement, then just plugging it in.GOOD THINKING.

    Thanks Matt

Just to finish this. After many people on here saying how good George from motorcycle doctors is,i booked him and here arrived yesterday. All i can say is the people who recommended him were so right. He came to my place rewired all the black and melted bits, there was far more than i thought, pressed the starter button and it burst back into life. What a nice guy, very competitive price, bike now running well.So i join the people who would not hesitate to recommend him.He will be getting all my services now,and on any future bikes i buy. So thanks Motorcycle Doctors ,from one happy motorcycle rider.
