We had two kinds of beating at our school, the one you got from the big kids playing bullrush and the one you got from the Nun's for playing bullrush or anything else they thought might possibly be wrong...
one thing I could never figure out was why, when the school milk was delivered before 8am we had to wait until after lunch to drink it...until one day the Nun taking us said..its a wee pennance for your wee sins is warm milk...callous cows..
