Ignition switch for a C50

Help. I have managed to lose the key for my daughter's C50 scooter. She is not happy! I have thought about just putting a switch on it, but would prefer a key for security reasons. As far as I can see it will be easier to just swap out the whole ignition barrell - I don't suppose anyone has a fucked old C50 or 90 lying about that they could part out the ignition barrell complete with a key??? Please

Those suckers are remarkably generic. just go to a auto sparky and he will have one that fits and looks the same for about $25. just the plug will be different. Just cut it off and stick the wires in the apropriate places individually with single crimp on terminals

Sorted. Took the barrel off, then 60 seconds @ Ken Price Locksmith. 2 brand new keys, fitted and balanced for $20.
