I'm sure I read somewhere that there is a 7+ earthquake somewhere in the world about every 5 days. Most of them of course are under the oceans or so deep underground that they don't have an effect on the surface or they happen in uninhabited places. Makes earthquake prediction a bit like saying "there is a high probability that there will be a Friday this week".

Who cares if they (any of them) got it right as long as they keep trying they might eventually crack it!

If they all followed the same path and missed something vital they will definitely miss the boat, so I'm still open to even crackpot suggestions at least being looked at!

So far not many of the so called experts are making any headway on this subject but good on them for trying!

Earthquakes are something that you can't predict... but my guess is if the moon and its gravitational pull effects tides and such then it is possible that a side a effect of this extra gravatational pull could cause increased EQ's... but you would not be able to predict where and or what fault line... maybe only when as the moon is closer etc...

    dunno... ???

No reports of any damage or injuries so far. I'm sure you all checked that out thoroughly before you laughed it up big. Especially with all the Japanese have done to help out in NZ recently.
    Keep on chooglin'
