    Insurance rebuild?

    Giday ...

I am after advice and opinions please on where to send my bike for insurance repairs.
    I'm needing a total front-end rebuild and a little body work touch-up and re-spray.

Im in Christchurch and would prefer a mechanic that knows the ins and outs of Triumph and can get their hands on parts easily.

It has to be in the South Island and I have narrowed down to 2 companies, being Thunderbike in Nelson and McIver & Veitch in Dunedin.
Are there any others I may have missed?

Street & Sport are totally out of the equasion here, not only due to the earthquake, but to the fact of me wanting the repairs done in a decent time frame and the job done properly.

If you have delt with the companies listed, what are their services, character and reputations like?

    Cheers

I'd suggest either company would be fine, but for a job like that it wouldn't need specialist Triumph skills. Thunderbike have lost the trumpy franchise so will be no better off than any shop for getting parts.

Personally I would suggest you talk to the local bike shops and get an idea from them because it will save you a lot of time and expense doing it locally. Try the TOMCC, they may help. Sadly Street and SPort are probably not going to be functioning for a while, so maybe Hampton Honda?
Don't blame me, I voted Green.
