Nice weather today! The ride was good, the timing was good. Got back to Auckland before 1:00. Just in time.

HOpe most of you enjoyed the ride.

Except for the funeral that blocked the whole road. Sorry to Loosebruce for hitting him in the head!

Thanks to Crashe for turning up to see us off! MacD, pity you were only running on 3 cylinders.

Here are the photos from the day, anybody got anymore, post them up!

Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

shitabrickulot --did anyone actually do any riding--with all those pictures It looks like lotsa stoppin not much ridin.
I must say my ride started out pretty--well to be honest shite.
I needed to work a few kinks outa the ol mind so i headed away first.
Waited till ol loosie bwucie caught up then off again.
First couple of real corners and the ol XJ set up soft for commuting had some scarey slides. -Note to self-chasing a 200? gsxr1000 on a 1983 desighned bike just aint gonna happen.
It wasn't till I turned back and did a second and third run that things clicked back into place. It was cool zipping past you lot in the opposite direction.
The ride across to albany was fun with nice open corners and non slippery roads.
It was as usual a pleasure to catch up with you lot I'm sorry if I wasn't being a social rider today
Thanks FEIGHT for organising things for us

    Good Day!

Good to catch up with a lot of ya, Zed, Feint etc and meet new faces to the circus.
Still really getting to terms with the GSXR, it's a mint bike all round and i can't really fault it, part from the fact i'm still stuck with a stock muffler needs a little tweaking suspension wise and it'll be the bizzo alright.
2nd time north for me and quite enjoyed it, i normally head for the Coromandel, even thou i live out west
Once the roads were dry, it was nice for a change to take on a more lesiurely pace and turn it up when i felt like it, a slight misjudgement by me had me thinking i was going to run outta gas, so i backed off for a while, filled up then took the wrong turn and led a few astray, my humble apoligies to you lot, we still found our way in the end.

Anyhow now it's off to work, get shit sorted and rock on home to watch the motogp tonight and then after that watch both SBK races and the Supersport as well as MotoX World champs highlights, then no doubt fail to goto bed and head straight for work in the morning, gonna be a long day tomorrow.

Cheers for the company all and see you all again real soon
