What it could have is a much bigger bearing on next year as they have to design, build, test ect a whole new bike and engine. That would involve countless hours of continuous simulation work, prototyping and development. i would have imagined now would be crunch time for late development before the whole thing would go together say in may or june, for initial track testing

it could be interesting for moto3 too as i know the japanese factories are working on baby bikes too.

Was speaking to one of the test engineers today Hrc is ok , with business as usual Utsunomiya ( about 1 hour by train from Tokyo ) has taken a knock , but that wont effect the racing dept as that is here in Saitama,, HRC and the asakadai dept
