What a ride, what a day!

350km ride today through twisty winding hills, up to Whangarei and back.

I almost used a full tank of fuel.

AND my boss paid me the km rate for there and back.

He then apologised and said I might have to do similar rides in the future.

It was just a shame to interrupt the riding with a 2 hour meeting.

    Lunch was good though.

I am desperately trying not to let on how much I am enjoying myself

Well done, - consider changing your Occupation on the Census/Electoral Roll to Motorcyclist, like I have....

    Weekend trips?

I would have offered up a coffee mid trip, but I am now gainfully employed

Yeah its a tough job but someones gotta do it!
Reminds me of "work" over the summer, when I had to ride over the Rotomas every day. Gutted!

    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

Yep I bloody hate it when on a Friday I think "bugger I have to take the bike to do that measure on way home, not the work van".Think the boss understands my disdain.
