Police would only have about 70% of my respect. I'd give them 100% when they focus on solving crimes and not thier ticket quoters.

And while on the subject of police, why do they no longer walk the streets like they used too?

Yeah well I meant as in a couple of bobbies walking during day time interacting with the crowd, saying hello to the kids. You know what I mean.

I remember something like this happening a few years ago on the Harbour Bridge. Local cop had to close a lane to get some little kids toy off it...

Piss poor parenting in my opinion. All cars with electric windows have a window lock to prevent exactly this kind of thing from happening. I hate it when shit comes flying out of a car that's in front of me. Even cigarette butts put the shits up me when they fly out a window and hit me in the face

I have the utmost respect for the boys in blue on the streets, their job isn't a walk in the park with all the pricks they have to deal with on a day to day basis... the fuckers on the other end of the telephone when you ring up needing help however I have little to none for.

Whut? Surely the first comment was sarcasm?

The nzp have been no use to me at all when I needed them, but trip me up at every possible administrative turn for large amounts of my cash.

In the end, it's not the fault of the police - it's the govt's idea that the general public is a cash cow to milked harrrrd, an ideal and set of actions that I no longer consent to.
