hi . my dad's family is from lerwick. he is coming over for my sons wedding in christchurch this november. the old fella is getting on a bit and has heard that theres a large shetland community in masterton area.

my dad lived on the shetlands for a few years in his teens in the 50's

we will be travelling back from christchuch to whakatane by car(scenic trip) and my old man would love to meet up with anyone that maybe related to us on the way back to whakatane for a cuppa or a pint and a slice of cake!

..would be kinda cool

my dad is in his late 70's, surnames of evans and clark from lerwick.
