License for Taupo Moto TT track day

My unlicensed brother wants to do a trackday with me in March. I have never actually been asked to show my license there.
Has anyone had to show their license or been refused access to the track for not having one?

I had to show mine at Manfeild for the first time and there after not as they had it on record.
