So I was riding home tonight. Riding down fanshawe street towards the motorway in Auckland. There was a red light about 50 m ahead so I was only doing about 40 kph, cruising up to the lights. A bus pulls out of the bus stop into the bus lane ahead of me, then across another lane straight in front of me. I have to slam the brakes and swerve into the lane next to me, otherwise he'd have wiped me out. Luckily noone was in it. The light is red up ahead, so I pull up next to him and ask what the fuck he thinks he's doing. He has the nerve to say some bs about its not his fault. I give him a mouthful and promise to report him. That shuts him up. Light goes green, and I just sit there, waiting for him to drive away. When he does, I memorize his plate and zoom off. Called *555 a few mins later and the lovely sounding lady gets my details and promises to send a cruiser or two out looking. Hope the retard gets fined.

Anyone had similiar? I say report them Or kick their door every time they do.

Not being one to take on a bus in something much much smaller, I have recited a few bus numbers and times before.
I know they have to stick to a schedule, but that schedule is NOT an excuse to damn near run people and cars over.
Seen poor scooter riders get the fright of their life when a bus suddenly decides LOL COAST IS CLEAR and force them into oncoming traffic.

Best bet, as suggested, is to let the bus company know. I know how shocking the can be, about 2 years into my riding 'career' I was rear ended / side slammed by a bus in Point Chevalier. Clown had the nerve to go off at me how it was my fault, yet he was over my lane.
Even had one try to take me on in my Prado because he was sitting all the way up my arse on the motorway. Once off motorway when traffic had stopped at a light I asked him what his problem was, when we took off again, he tried to side swipe me and run me off the road. Very tempting to wait at his next stop and climb on board and pay him a little visit...but alas, very little is achieved by vigilante violence. Just another "poor bus driver given a slap up" article in the NZ Tabloid...I mean Herald. I think that some of those guys must get god complexes driving around in a huge vehicle and it goes to their heads...

Bus drivers are little hitlers, I've lost count of how many times I've had to brake hard to avoid hitting the cunts, not just on the bike either. This is in Hamilton too, Orcland bus drivers would be even worse.

Lets see a bus load of moaning whining passengers that make smart remarks and bitch, some even to the company, when you are five minutes late cause some cunt of a driver or rider just had to beat you to the lights and cut you off so you couldn't execute the lane change, a bus company that has worked out schedules based on empty roads, a supervisor that's so far up the companies anus they haven't seen daylight for years, you are under paid and over worked and some little cunt on bike that the passengers would hardly notice the bump if you ran it over wants their share of the road. Yep, doesn't matter what city bus drivers are cunts, not so bad in towns though.

How about that girl who who was run over at a crossing and dragged under the bus, about 2 years ago. I think it was during a show or concert with pedestrians everywhere.

I ride many thousands of km each year, but hardly ever in cities. It's almost all rural or small towns. My observations are that in general truckies are the best drivers on the roads and Bus drivers are the absolute worst.

So, if I find bus drivers to the worst drivers on the road in rural locations and small towns, and you say that city bus drivers are worse still.... Well I'm glad I hardly ever ride in cities.
