Arrow Photos: Buckets at Mt Wellington 19 & 20 March 2010

Fiery photos from practice on 19 March, with Henk to the rescue:

Hot pace on race day, 20 March:

    More race-day photos to come....

Rick (52) was in second place and in top form in the last race until:

I suspect he went down trying to avoid running into the back of Gary's bike (23). Possibly a wee bit of front brake? The next batch of photos will show all the action . Rick re-mounted and finished well up the field - 6th, I think. David (50) and Gavin (31) reacted very quickly to avoid running into Rick - well done guys. No injuries and great racing .

Great photo Damien. I had figured the only way to beat Karl and Gavin was to be in front of them by the second corner, managed to beat Karl into the first corner and was lining Gavin up to have a go around the outside of the second (first lap heroics) and then there was Rick having a lay down in the middle of the track! Oh well, maybe next time.

All good, you had momentum (and gap) to slide off the line, you werent hurt and you picked up points.
38 received another lesson on lines from KM - was seriously fun racing!
