What a boreing piece of crap that was. Nothing but a procession. After last weeks super exciting Daytona 200 (except for the huge tire delay) and AMA superbike races, this GP was a complete dissappointment.

You must've seen a different race than I did then.
No, not Moto2, MotoGP is what I just watched.
What I saw was only 3 or 4 lead changes in the 1st half of the race then gaps developed which lead to the last 10 laps procession. Don't get me wrong, the riders and bikes are excellent. But there was next to no diceing, no 3, 4, 5, or more bikes wide anywhere, no backing in to speak of, didn't see any darkies, stoppies, smokies or wheelies either. Nothing like the 500 days. Hopefully the season will get better or we/I may have to wait until the 1000cc bikes show up next year for some bar to bar action.
Just my opinion.
Nah bro I think your still talking about Moto2.
Seriously,They are Grand Prix bikes tuned to within an inch of there lives to the current rules, if the bikes are doing any of the things you've described then they're not competitive.
I was expecting a Honda whitewash and the fact that Lorenzo did as well as he did gives you hope for the rest of the season. But early days yet.
Agreed.
IMO the electronics is what has made it less exciting. But if the rules reduced the amount of electronic aids and everyone WAS doing the things I described, the action would be much more lively.
Hopefully Lorenzo will heep the Hondas honest otherwise it could turn into a yawnfest.
I think the various lil races within the race were great, and some of the passes were great to watch. Sure the modern electronics have made the bikes less exciting, but some of the racing will be epic this year. We'll have a few that'll shake up the aliens along the way. Simoncelli will end up in a punch up with someone too.
