    HJC IS16: Who's got one?

    Hi all
Looking at the IS16 cause the idea of a internal sun visor sounds like a great idea and i'm getting a bit pissed shagging around with my sunnies all the time.Any one got one ???? and what do you think of it.

    Cheers

I got one! Had it 6 months or so and use it every day. Find the sun visor great and on those very bright days or when the sun is low I still wear my sunglasses as well. Only down side is I find it noisier than my last HJC. Which surprised me as my last HJC was bottom of the line, cheapest, no frills helmet. Still rate it, say, 7 out of 10.

I've had an FS-10 Infinity which also has the internal visor for just over two years now. Commute just under 100kms every day in that time and it's still holding up fine.

They do pinlock visors for them now too, so I got one of those with a pinlock antifog insert and it's pretty much the perfect helmet for me. In winter I have one of those helmet socks on the bottom to stop the cold wind, all good!

I have an FS10, it's brilliant not having to poke the arms of my sunnies into my eyes. I wouldn't go back to a standard helmet.

    Hiya

I have the FS-10 and find it not too bad. A little noisy but an all around OK helmet. I got it for the internal visor and hardly use it at all - I find the visor feels like it has a gentle prescription as it takes a couple of blinks to adjust back after using it. It's also entirely possible I'm just a nana.

Given the option again, I'd get a better, quieter helmet for the same money and have a tinted visor or sunnies

    6/10 I spose

A mate had one and liked it a lot but the padding started getting pretty scruffy and he found that he couldn't get replacement bits. Apparently importer does not bring some of the spares in...

I got one to replace my LS2 delta (replaced due to being involved in an accident). I like the spring action to lift the internal sunvisor but thats the only plus IMHO. The LS2 was cheaper, more quiet and had a better external visor action, even with it being a flip front. The ventilation on both of them is about even

I wouldn't buy another road helmet without a sunvisor.
I got a GIVI H401 from Motomail nearly 3 years ago.

The price has come down to $400 - I'm tempted to get another one in case it goes back up.

Absolutely love mine..it fits well, love the internal visor which I find very useful. Wind noise is a little bit of an issue but not bad enough to change helmets..maybe a set of ear plugs...apart from that great helmet imho

In fact FU*K off and leave me alone
