    New leathers?

    Hey everyone,

Im after a new set of leathers, wanting to spend around $2000, Im after a good fit, I am 6'2" and weigh 75kg, so need to be slim fitting leathers. I would also like a set if possible with a built in back protector although as far as I know only the Race Rep Alpinestars have this feature.

What is everyones thoughts on this? I tried on a pair of these teknicgear.com/xcelerator-1pc-suit/ yesterday, were nice but quite heavy and bulky.

And my current leathers are Ixon galactica btw.

    Cheers
    JB

    My 5c worth.
I have Rev It suit and find it comfortable and llight. Had it for about 3 years i think and it's standing the test of time really well.
Otherwise Dianese. Had one of those too till it got nicked. So it was good enough to pinch as well.

I 2nd the qmoto gear. had it for about 3 years and use it every day.

You might find because you are a taller skinny bugger the off the shelf stuff might be a bit short in the leg / arm for you.

Having said that - if you are after a zip together 2 piece, you might want to go a jacket and trou size up to fit a decent back protector. quasi has them too (check out qmoto under the shop area or qmoto.co.nz).

Jeepers you must look like a stick! 6 inches on me and within a couple of kg.

Try Qmoto first. Period. I think you'll be happy and you should get change out of your budget. Plus he'll be able to pad out the suit for you!

For $2K you might want to have a look at Leda Leathers
