Cold Duck Rally 2011 (13-15 May)

It is how's Dannivirke, Wimbleton, that P place, Black Head Beach Rd(don't be shy), Long Range Rd, then left to the rally site sound? Mind with all these slips lately it may pay to carry an extra gallon of gas though. Well those of us with around a 220km range anyway. Oh and an extra litre of oil.

I plan to be there Friday night then head off after the events and see the olds Saturday. Then Napier-Taihape on the way home on Sunday all going well.

Leave pass sorted, but awaiting on lights from Germany for wof!!! So hopefully soon. Then need to get ticket, think April in Waipawa PO shop is getting that for me. Then tent. Done.

This will be my first Cold Duck, been told it is a good one to go too

Got pass sorted with wife, time off work approved for the Friday, paid for ticket online this morning, bike, reg, wof all good, checked the tent - no holes

what’s the food like, ie option to buy cooked meals or is it just Hotdog and Pie carts, or byo

Company said 3-7 days out side of Germany? Seems a bit unreal if that is the case. If so then tomorrow is 5 day, so Tomorrow to Wednesday? This will be the fastest frieght I have had from overseas.

Have been Thinking about taking thre old BBQ Plate that smell of freshly cooked bacon snizzling on a hot plate them slapped between a couple of slices of natures best and watties tomato sauce ...would be bloody brillient at 7am thanks Chanceyy

yup can do the tent set up throw the gear in & off to market sounds like a great plan now lets hope this weather buggers off before friday week aye ..

Might even do the poker run this yr since its a fundraiser for CHCH some good prizes there too
