I was there with my fellow Patriots.
All 5 of our NZ Chapters were represented, with over 70 bikes for our members run on Sat.
Bloody fantastic event, well organised and we couldnt be happier with the weather you put on for us as well

Plan for there to be even more of us next year

    Went there...did that!
An absolutely primo weekend. Narrowly missed getting pinged for a hideous speed on Saturday arvo, thank god it was too dangerous for the cop to do a u-ey cos the indicator went on and I know he thought about it! Yeah yeah naughty of me I know but I blame my man cos he started it and I was just chasing ha ha ha ha.

BTW the busa having fun in the games...yeah he was with my crowd LOL. Like that naked look? Cough! there is a reason for that, he likes to take it bush...yeah really!!!Apparently he is always up for anything and loves to give the crowd a good show hey its all about entertainment eh? Busa versus scooter...ha ha ha that was funny!

Hope everyone made it home before the really bad weather hit. We had a group of 9 bikes and riding the Napier-Taupo highway on Sunday was character building to say the least. I was on the CR and at one point the wind just shoved me across the road and off it. I just chopped down some gears, cranked the power on and managed to get it around the corner.
Christ it was a wrestling match! Give me rain over wind ANY day.

Despite that it was still a top weekend and I will be back for more punishement next year!

To anyone offended by my jokes, comments, or feels aggrieved by being made the butt of a joke or comment, take a number and join the queue! Or in other words harden the f@*k up.
To the rest from whom I received fantastic positive feedback, a Very Big THANK YOU!

I/we enjoy putting this rally on for you guys and if you've never participated in the organisation of anything bordering on this size, you will have no idea of the work that goes in behind the scenes for 11 months prior to the "gig" and for only 3 days worth of attendance.

To put it into perspective a little, by 11pm on Saturday night we had just about sold out of 12 pallets of assorted alcoholic beverages, and approx. 1 tonne of assorted food items.

For this again I thank you for coming and hope that everybody got home safely and with everything they left with and nothing they didn't!

I would like to thank the sponsors who give us all the stuff we give away and help with discounts, products and services that get the rally moving.

And lastly and most importantly, a huge, huge, huge, thank you to our supporters and helpers who do all this work (most of it hard) for love and without them we wouldn't be able to operate the rally as smoothly as it runs if at all! We all owe them a debt of gratitude for feeding, watering, entertaining, guarding, cleaning, heating, more cleaning, sheltering, lighting, cooling, flushing, cleaning and still more cleaning for you all.
Awesome dude absolutely had a blast & your laugh is rather infectious .. you do a top job on the mic (cept you forgot to call my name for the spot prizes)

weather was absolutely ripper for the weekend & only the last 40ks did we hit rain but who cared!!!!

big thanks & hats off to all the organisers, supporters & sponsers top job, awesome rally & can not wait for next yr

just a thought for next yr .. looking at all the debris when we were leaving (not from our group I noted) is there any way to stick those massive sacks around the area for ppl to put their cans/bottles in (and smaller ones for rubbish perhaps ?) that may cut down on the clean up for the crew once everyone leaves
Have to Karma ... Justice catches up eventually !!

Bumped into Terry, firey from Palmy airport, today. Seemed to have enjoyed himself. Did Gibbo manage to get there in the end?

my first cold duck : )

I have to agree you were hilarious on the micorphone, Great job! I have never been before but will definitely be back next year especially if the barrel races are going to provide as much entertainment, ha ha go nifty fifty!
If I had one complaint it would be the waiting time to get cards stamped on the Polka run- maybe next year you could have two to three decks of cards???Dunno if the logistics would work
Next year I would love to ride down with others as the ride from TGA was long and stressful alone ( especially when road detours are not properly marked)
All in all great fun, lots of, and a great variety of bikes to look at, and a fantastic crowd. Great work guys
Oh an totally agree about separating bins/ bags : )
