Selling my 1990 ZZR 250 as I have gotten my full and moved on to a bigger bike.
Bike has some damage as is shown in photos.
Run well mechanically and has a new WoF as of approx 3 weeks ago.
Rego expires 02/06/2011.
Bike has Oxford heated grips (the sport ones) and they are as awesome as everyone says they are.
Petrol tank developed a leak about a month ago, this was epoxy'd to fix it and allowed it to pass WoF, however I would recommend getting a new tank. Wreckers have given me a quote of $100 for a new tank.
Metal loop that comes off sidestand to allow you to easily put it down with your foot has come off, however the sidestand is still in working order. Metal loop is available if you wanted to weld it back on.
Secondary trip meter doesn't work, primary works fine.
Various scratches and cracks all round, but don't affect performance.
This bike served me well through my learners and restricted, would suit someone who doesn't mind the cosmetic scratches and/or someone mechanically minded.
Viewing is in Newlands or could arrange for a viewing at my workplace, Massey University on Buckle St.
All servicing receipts since I've owned the bike (mid- 07 onwards) available.
Test rides possible if you bring cash/gear/license.
