    NZSBK round 4 Hampton Downs

Wow is everyone too tired to post comments, observations, results?

125GP Race 1: Victory for Moto Academy NZ graduate James Jarman!!

    YAAAAYYYYYYY

Good stuff. Could not come to a nicer and harder working young rider.

If Moto Academy NZ had even a small part to play in the victory (which was probably coming by the way after a good 3rd and leading a race in the Sth Is) then we are happy.

    Good luck for Sunday Jimmy.

ummm, I think there's lots of people getting covered in grease and sand. It was very slippery out there today because of tricky weather conditions. Walking around the paddock I was seeing broken bikes all over the place.

Hopefully the it stops pissing down overnight and dries up.

Yeah, what MT said. Stop falling off, us marshals are tired and wet.

Oh, and use wets when its raining. It sounds obvious, but one chap in the last race of Saturday was circulating on slicks, the rain came down, and then he was chatting to us.

Oh, and don't bother trying to fool us. Insisting you're fine as you try to keel over (except I caught you) is not going to make us let go

Just had a quick look at the results from HD.
Looks like the "Stroud" clan will increase as another title is imminant.
Dennis Charlett has also proven that "the older generation" is still capable of champs.......hopefully see him on a 1000 next year.
Jaden Hassen has made his mark again......... although Midge is a serious challenger......... shame Sam love wasnt in it from the start.
Jake Lewis is a CHAMPION in the making.... in more than just 125...... watched him on D Charletts spare bike a couple of weeks ago at Ruapuna.... THAT BOY IS BORN TO A 600. If the motorcycling fraturnity of NZ should get behind a future international hopefull... he my choice.
Seth Devereux is another un-recognised talent showing the new prolite riders how it should be done.
Johnny Small has proven himself beyond doubt to be a class act in pro-twin. Aside from the rumours that the motor is dodgy (i dont believe it is/ coming from a fellow pro-twin team) with Shaun Harris & Johnnny Hepburn behind him he will be a serious contender in the next couple of seasons...hopefully 600 mounted too.
Have to say "awesome result" to BIGGLES.... well done mate
John Ross is making some awesome progress both here and in OZ. The team are very committed to success....go boys.
Sloan has proven that the "hard yards" over the winter, learning set-up and gaining valuable seat time..... really pays of in the long term. Congrats M1 motorsport.
The Hoogie brothers are gonna go from strength to strength from now on.

    Food for thought.........
    J Small - pro twin 1
    R Stokes - protwin 2
    J Lewis - 125 1
    S Devereux - Prolite 1
M Hoogie streetstock overal winner 2011 (pro twin soon)
    A Hoogie - 600 rookie (ex 125gp champ)
J Hoogie - 600 rookie (ex protwin top gun)
    E Oliver-maxwell - 600 stock rookie
All from the south island and ALL via the junior training programme and ex streetstock top performers................. proof/pudding.........nuf said.

Well done all, can't wait to see the action at Manfeild. I went to check what was happening on http://www.nzsbk.com/ - their link for "Mylaps" points to a certain motorcycle shop in Wellington:
"Full Results from Hampton on http://www.motorcycle.co.nz/ click on MY LAPS link"
But lets not tell them because Bistard might get to sell a few extra bikes today.
